Will This "Docking Station" Work?

I'm planing on making a portable small form factor machine that i can plug into quick disconnects for better acoustics and performance.

Here is my idea...

Remember you need to connect your external fans to a 12V power supply. I personally have two 4pin fan extensions going from my motherboard to my external rad, and they join together at the same point as the QDCs.

Feel free to PM for any water-cooling questions. Check out my profile for more ways to contact me.

Why do you need bits power tap? Just leave a few inches of hose on the outside of the case and connect the quick disconnects... less connections, less cost and fewer points of failure.
