While I'm pretty sure you had a stroke writing that title, it will run Fortnite. Not at a very good FPS however, so you'd probably have to keep it at Low or Medium to get a respectable framerate.

If you're not happy with that, please specify your budget for a new GPU and your country and I can help you find a good deal on a GPU

It can hitch or stutter here and there because of your limited RAM of only 8GB.  Also it would be smart to have a SSD, and if you don't then the game can also stutter as well.

Fortnite is not a ram-hungry game. It does not stutter for me with 8GB. Stuttered for me more with my GPU which had a limited VRAM of 2GB

A SSD is a good idea if he doesn't have one however

True NunoLava actually that Unreal Engine uses about 6.5GB RAM, total with OS included.  So there would be no stuttering.  I said may stutter, not.. it will stutter hehe.  And yes a 80 dollar SSD would be nice loading up those maps and what not.

It will run. You'd likely have to keep the settings to Low or Medium however. If you want Ultra 60fps, you'd have to get a RX 570 (140€ or 105$ from Amazon) or equivalent/better GPU

No, the ram is too slow... 2600 is the least you should get, and the faster the better the apu would work,

It would still play okay however, Fortnite is definitely not a intensive game

It's not necessary, it'll just increase your performance

Thanks for clearing that up.  Ok your good to go.  I know the Unreal Engine well.  So what you want to do is put all your graphics settings on "medium" alto you can try high, but don't put highest or ultra.  Run the game @ 1600x900 and vsync off,  I bet you anything you will get 60fps and very very playable and things will look good too.  All the highest and ultra settings do is make hi res textures so you go close to walls or look at ground you see lots of detail, but when you step away it slowly LOBs I guess.

It will run perfectly fine at Medium (about 30-45 fps maybe) or Low (I'd think 40-55 fps)

It is actually, if he is using intergrated graphics, otherwise it would stutter. I own a 2200g myself. Ryzen won’t work will with slow memory

Yes he will def get dips, but I think he can pull off 60fps easily at stand still.

Integrated graphics.  8gb - 2gb is 6gb, which is the situation the OP will be in.
