FSP Windale 6 CPU Cooler Any good?

I have a 2600x and still looking for a cooler for it for 5 months now, I was going to go with liquid but the reliability of it is very low. Really wanted the CM ML240R RGB, but scared to run my system from leaks.

 

So AIR is what I’ll have to go with I was looking at Dark Rock Pro 4 and saw that FPS Windake 6 (Never Heard of them) out preforms DRP4.  So I don’t know if the number are right but is this cooler any good ?

I had the FSP Windale 4, the fan is same with Windale 6, which is SUPER QUIET!  I mean it. it's 1600 RPM, even at full speed it's more quiet than full speed 1500 RPM Noctua fan..

Because of the voltage curve you probably won't get much performance increase with an aftermarket cooler compared to stock, however the Windale 4 is on newegg for $25 if you really want it...

 I like the black colored heatsink on 6 rather than the aluminum on the 4.

This cooler is an excellent choice for low noise, and decent (but far from the best) in thermals.

What chip did you have it on and how was the performance on cooling if your remember which is your highest temp on a full load

Look at this And tell me what you think of the testing they did here,  because it’s beating the dark rock pro 4, which makes no sense to me but who knows p, so pls check this the page

That's the DR4 and not the DRP4 which is better.

The Windale 6's performance tends to vary a bit wildly from the reviews I've seen. Overall, it's still good and seems to perform slightly better than the DR4.

 I have no idea what you’re talking about I was trying to look at the page that I linked it was showing that the FPS cooler was performing better than the dark rock pro 4.  And didn’t know if that was real numbers?

I had the Windale 4 on i7-8700K, it's decent cooler, while the Windale 6 i think it's much better than Windale 4. It was around mid 80C for 4.8GHz and 42C idle. But like I said, the fan is seriously quiet.

I made a mistake I didn’t realize it was not a PRO version.  

 

While guess Ill have to buy a Dark Rock Pro 4 from Amazon wish Noctua made black coolers

Actually the Windale 6 is a good choice, but in the end is up to you. We just gave something into consideration
