Posted February 19, 2019 What is this adapter converting? I know it is from an HP laptop elitebook 2740p. One end is from a proprietary hardrive for hp laptops (looks similar to SATA) but the other end looks like a regular connector. Attached is a picture of both ends. Note: Replacment hard drives aren’t cost effective. Any adapter will work though as we plan on turning some of these laptops into chrome books using some old 32gb ultra small ssds we have.
