Ah man 95c is way too hot.  I'm shocked the card is still working order.  80c would be understandable.  In nVidia panel make sure its set to optimal power and tell us what your idle GPU temps are ?  Your going to have to get a freezer thingie and put the laptop on it when you game lol,

Wait why optimal, I use maximum. I meant the cpu reaches 95c and the gpu is around 80

i was trying to decrease the heat from the gpu so I can decrease the overall heat

IF you use maximum then when your on the desktop the card will get much hotter since it will be running at max core and vram speeds.  WIith optimal power once you launch a game then it fluctuates and increases Mhz and once your done gaming and go to desktop it downclocks again.  You can even try adaptive power and see what that does.  Also one quick question, has the GPU always run this hot when gaming or this started recently and what not.

Set lower turbo ratio limits, eg 3.9GHz all core to 3.6GHz (not disable turbo boost) and undervolt CPU via Throttlestop

Then follow this guide to undervolt GPU

Oh ok cause I recently realised my games keep crashing maybe I need to switch it back to optimal and 80c is reasonable for a gtx 1070 right? I’m just worried about my cpu because I unvolted it (-350) and it still is high temp (95c) but it doesn’t throttle though should I rethermal paste?
