Dual LGA771 non proprietary?

Hi, I need help: I spent dozens of hours searching for a dual socket lga771 motherboard that has a pcie x16 slot and does not require a proprietary PSU, or that i can find the power supply for cheap. I'm in Canada, and have a small budget: 70CAD for the motherboard and 20-30 bucks for a PSU (that's why I'm going used). I already have two Xeon E5420's, got them for 10 bucks. If it isn't worth it, tell me a better alternative (I would use the PC for emulation and gaming in general, I already have a graphics card)

Well, most games will be unable to take advantage of the dual CPU setup, so you may be better off getting a newer system, if your budget is hovering around that price you can get an HP z400 on ebay for about 100USD that will outperform an e5420 in everything but maybe some workstation loads, you can also emulate most things on a raspberry pi so thats always an option too lol

Current Build

Spoiler
  • CPU
  • Motherboard
  • RAM
  • GPU
  • Case
  • Storage
  • PSU
  • Display(s)
  • Cooling
  • Keyboard
  • Mouse
  • Sound
  • Operating System
