how hot can i get?

i got my waterblock for my R9 290 yesterday and i just hooked it up but before i start trying to overclock, what temps should i aim for. i know its safe up to 95, but how far past should i go. i really want to push this thing as far as i can. ;p

You wont get anywhere near 95°C with watercoolin lol

I wouldn't take it over 95C. You'll probably run into limits of what the GPU can do before you get to those temperatures anyway, the 290 isn't a very good overclocker.

Push it as far as it will go Temps won't be an isseu on Watercooling

That depends on the coolant and what the mixture is. If it is distilled water with nothing else in it you are correct.

A liquid cooled system would never reach those temps anyways unless you have no fans running.
