Hi!

I'm new here but wanted to ask for some help if you don't mind.

I'm thinking about building a PC with the following specs:

GPU Gigabyte Aorus GeForce RTX 2060 Xtreme 6G
CPU Intel® Core™ i5-9600K
MBO Gigabyte Z390 Gaming X
RAM CORSAIR VENGEANCE LPX 16GB 3200MHZ
SSD Western Digital Blue 250GB 2.5" SATAIII
HDD Western Digital AV-GP SATA 1TB 6GB
Case NATEC MIDI TOWER TITAN 700 RED
PSU CORSAIR VENGEANCE PSU 550M 550W
CPU Cooling

DEEPCOOL GAMERSTORM MAELSTROM 240 RGB

Display Acer XB241H

I would appreciate any suggestions, tips and just opinions whether it would be decent for it's price range.

Thank you

Get a 1070 TI, not a 2060 OR a used 1080.

Is 1070ti really better? Here where I live i can get rtx2060 i mentioned for 430 EUR while 1070ti starts from 460

All that I listed I can get for around 1730-1750 EUR (Im from Estonia, which makes it a bit more difficult), including the display

Thank you for your time, mate. I just checked local prices and all this comes to 1500 euros. my listed specs were around 1300 without the display (i included the OS at first as well). I guess prices do differ that much unfortunately =( Like that 1070ti Zotac costs 600Eur here. But I can get Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 Ti Gaming 8GB for 485

Do you agree that 1070 ti is better than 2060?

@SoldYa those 8gigs of vram in 1070TI are worth extra 30 euros.

Thank you. I will take a closer look at that part

the 1070 ti is a good bit slower than the 2060, the 2060 is perfectly fine.

Im really sorry to bother but could you please tell if the things i specified are gonna actually work? Is there something that could kill (bottleneck) the pc? Sorry to bother once again.

no bother, the only thing i'd change is a slightly bigger ssd, it's already a very good and balanced build.

i have yet to see an actual gaming benchmark from a techtuber that puts the 1070 ti above the 2060. It's even firmly outside of margin of error

not true dont spread lies please

I guess it depends on which versions of the cards they used for testing and clockspeed...for example in the video you linked he is using a premium MSI gaming card that has a hefty factory overclock in place and he probably used the MSI gaming app to set the card into OC mode...

Here for example in this video he tested refrence 2060 against reference 1080 and the 1080 is faster by a fair margin across all games tested...so AT BEST the 2060 is a match for a 1070ti...we could argue all day long but the truth is these cards all perform very similar and it will all depend on what games you test and clockspeed of the cards...

The 1070ti has more memory, but the 2060 has RTX features...you decide
