i have internet connection but windows doesnt say there is

I have connection to Internet but when I use things like word or update windows the windows store it says no internet when I use anything else or play video games there is internet.

Anyone have a solution here?

I'd make sure that your IP and DNS settings are either properly set to their static settings (if you use static settings) or are actually set to DHCP (doesn't hurt to check). Then you can run "ipconfig /renew" in cmd to refresh the DHCP settings. You could also try and download updated network drivers on another device and transfer them over USB or DVD to your PC and install them. 

 

Doesn't hurt to try a different Ethernet cable and/or double check that it's plugged into the other end. You could also try a laptop or something to try and isolate whether or not its just your PC.

You probably use some tool to block updates or something like that. Store uses the same services as windows update.
