HP Zbook Studio G5 for CAD

Quetzal

Hello,

I am shopping for a laptop that I can use away from home for Solidworks and other heavy engineering programs. I have heard that SolidWorks can benefit from a Quadro GPU so I am considering the HP Zbook Studio G5. Unfortunately, there are not many reviews online about this laptop. I am wondering if it is a good laptop for SolidWorks and if it has good quality?

If you are looking for a laptop with a Quadro I think Lenovo's ThinkPad would be a better suit (they have a workstation line with Quadros).

I am from the US; preferably around $2000; decent battery life and not too heavy as I move around a lot sometimes.

Give a range - max weight and min battery life

probably less than or close to 6 pounds. Min battery life should be at least 5 hours.
