New laptop under $1000

Hi,

I'm looking for a 13" or 15" ultrabook, thin and light, or 2 in 1 with thunderbolt 3 under $1000. I saw the xps 9360 but that only uses 2 lanes for thunderbolt, I'm going to do some light gaming and editing so a dedicated gpu would be a plus but not required since I could get an egpu later. Touch screen is a must, stylus would be preferred but not needed. Any processor above an i5 is what I want, I'm okay with ryzen but I don't think they will have thunderbolt. I guess I'm a little too picky so if its a little above $1000 then that will also work.

Where are you from? Usage? Must it be 2 in 1? Any preference on weight and battery life?

I am from the US. No, it doesn't have to be a 2 in 1. Nothing too heavy or beefy like a gaming laptop. Long battery life is what I look for, 8 or more hours is preferred.

Anything under 5lbs is fine. Will use for light Photoshop, Premiere, and Minecraft! Mainly for school.
