You're going to see better performance in game. Ryzen is dependent on RAM speeds so you'll get some FPS jumps and render times lowered.

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Your CPU overall will run better/faster. Ryzen uses infinity fabric, which runs at the speed of your RAM. Which means you will see a small boost in FPS and maybe other tasks as well. You might also experience a faster, more responsive windows experience. It's definitely beneficial..
