Explorer wont show up anywhere

I recently bought a second hand computer from 2008 for $40 (win 10 pro) for casual tasks (youtube, python, emails, etc.) and first problem the file explorer wont show up in the start menu or a cortana search (though is still there because I can access it from a folder on my desktop), and secondly chrome will not stay pinned to task bar between shutdowns but my other apps will.

I am on windows 10 pro 15063.1387 (updating in a day or to)

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Just add Explorer to start menu if you must have it there.

Or create shortcut on desktop.

You can also made key shortcut to start explorer.

Or Win+R and type "explorer" (or even "c:\").
