EKWB 1080 Waterblock and 2080ti EKWB hole alignment?

I can't really find much information online but does EKWB 1080/1080ti Fitting Holes line up with the EKWB 2080ti.

 

Just wondering if anyone upgraded their 1080X EKWB with a 2080ti EKWB and found they didn't need to rebend their setup?

I'm a little confused... Are you swapping your 1080 for a 2080 Ti? Just measure the card's width. The FTW Cards use an aftermarket PCB so they are normally wider than a Founder's card.

yeah looking at switching out the 1080 for a 2080ti, looks about the same size card. and the holes look about the same but not sure if it is by design that way with EKWB.

if you have a look at EKWB product page for both of these waterblocks the last picture is actually is tech drawing with all dimentions in mm

the difference is 0.2mm!!!!

the petg tube is flexible enough to compensate 0.5mm

Uh.  Epic bad idea.  Even if the "screw holes" are lined up, the PCB layout isn't the same between the two cards, and neither is the size of the actual GPU!  Buy a new block!

Pretty sure that’s exactly what’s he’s doing. Which is why he asked. So he knows if he’ll have to rebend the hardline. 

 

Obviously wouldn’t have to if the blocks were the same.

Thank you guys, 2mm sounds great, i have my tubes going to the right so i can fill down the PETG that amount with some fine sandpaper.
