So I am planting on streaming some games like rainbow six siege/csgo/pubg and other games so as my pc needs an upgrade, I think I should get something good for streaming at 1080p and maybe 60fps. I want to have really good framerates and over 150fps on r6s while streaming. I upgraded my gpu recently so I am ok on that side. I want an OCing cpuo for sure so I would prefer the blue team. The budget would be around 400euros for the cpu. If you are suggesting something plz say why

Do you need a new motherboard, RAM and CPU? Or just CPU?

Can you please give more information? Your question is hard to answer without the resources.

Hello and Welcome to the LTT Foruns.

First of all, do you have any pc parts yet?

What is your entire budget?

But in order to recommend something to you we need to know the entire budget for the PC , instead we might as well give you a config or too expensive or to low-bugdet since we don't now the "limits"

Is there any buttons to "mention" or you have to type "@" an then the person's name?

Why do you need the total budget? I am just asking for a cpu recommendation around that price I mentioned

imagine we recommend you a CPU around 350 euros an then you decide to buy a cheap motherboard, it could be a problem, thats one of many reason we need the budget, and beacuse of the GPU too, to see if it won't bottleneck.

What's the rest of your system?

If you have up to 400€, i'd go for the Ryzen 7 2700X.

Ryzen 7 3700X / 16GB RAM / Optane SSD / GTX 1650 / Solus Linux

try getting this one:

ASUS ROG Maximus XI Code Z390 - £329.99

I7 9700K - £326.39

Noctua NH-D15 - £70.99

Ram just pic any 16GB of 2666MHz to 3200Mhz

If you want an AMD Config which i'd suggest the most:

ASUS ROG Crosshair VII Hero (Wi-Fi) - £209.99

Ryzen 7 2700X - £250.99

bruh thats UK pounds, not Euros.

Also, the 9700k probably isn't as good as the 2700x for streaming since it doesn't have hyper threading. Plus, the Maximus code XI has absolute garbage VRMs so it gets pretty warm for overclocking.

Do keep in mind that just because the brand is Asus, does NOT mean that you should just default to Asus for the best stuff, Gigabyte actually has the best Z390 Motherboards.

which country in newegg uses euros?

The 9700K is good for streaming however the lack of hyper threading indeed makes the 2700X a better option for better performance when streaming.

Oh i know, but these models i've tested or sold them in my job. I personally prefers gigabyte or asrock depending  on what you might need or want. but i don't care much about the brand but the quality of the MOBO.

All of the Gigabyte Aorus Z390 boards pummel the Asus boards in overclocking. The lowest tier Z390 aorus board, the aorus elite is better for overclocking than the maximus hero xi, lol.
