Question About Mounting The MSI Optix MAG27CQ

So I've been looking at getting this monitor. I have a desk mount that has the 75mm & 100mm bracket combined into one. So my question would be is it possible to mount the MSI Optix MAG27CQ to it? The monitor has recessed 75mm mounting holes so my current mount wouldn't fit into the the cutout slot on the back of the monitor. I didn't know if just purchasing longer screws would allow me to mount it to the back securely or not. Thanks for any information!
