Lenovo Yoga 730 13 81CT001TUS - a bit over budget

Acer Spin 5 SP513-52N-55LV / SP513-52N-530R

Lenovo Thinkpad L380 Yoga (customize) - upgrade storage after purchase, upgradable RAM

Hi,

After comments on the other thread I've posted about replacing my tablet, I'm now seriously considering a proper 2-in-1 laptop because a higher end tablet costs as much as a lower end 2-in-1 laptop, and I'll probably be better off with a laptop.

Basic needs are good screen, with touch capabilities, with the need to drive Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. Other things to be done with the laptop are watching videos, web browsing, and maybe some very light gaming (not AAA titles).

The budget as it stands is about $1000 CDN, and I've kinda have a quick list of the laptops I'm interested in:

1. Dell Inspiron 14 5482 with 14" 1920x1080 IPS touch screen display, Core i5-8265U, 8GB of RAM, and a 256GB NVMe SSD:

$1,049.99

2. Acer Spin 5 with 13.3" 1920x1080 IPS touch screen display, Core i5-8265U, 8GB of RAM, and a 256GB NVMe SSD:

$899.99

3. Lenovo Flex 5 with 15.6" 1920x1080 IPS touch screen display, Core i7-8550U, GeForce MX130, 8GB of RAM, and a 256GB NVMe SSD:

https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1401112-REG/lenovo_81ca000uus_flex_15_core_i7_8550u.html

$985.08

4. HP ENVY x360 15.6" 1920x1080 IPS touch screen display, Core i5-8250U, 8GB of RAM, and a 256GB NVMe SSD:

$999.99

Any other 2-in-1's I should consider? Thanks.

No real preference on weight, as long as it isn't absurdly heavy, would like roughly 8 hours of battery life, screen should be 13" or above with a 1920x1080 resolution or better.

How about the Dell Inspiron 13 7000, with the Ryzen 5 2500U, 8GB of RAM, 13.3" 1920x1080 display, and a 256GB SSD for $779.99?

I see it is definitely within the budget, and the Ryzen chip should be plenty powerful.

After chewing on this, I'll go with your suggestion of the Lenovo Yoga 730. I see Thunderbolt 3 compatibility, which would make up any foreseeable shortcomings.
