Laptop for music production

AronSC

Hi,

I'm a music producer and in need of a new laptop as my old one is starting to struggle with some more complex projects, I don't have the biggest budget though (about a thousand euro). My requirements are the following, it must be able to handle heavy VST synthesizers, render speed isn't extremely important, a dedicated graphics card is also a plus as I do like to do some simple gaming (my current gtx 850m is still good enough for basicly everything so no need to go overboard) , storage must be over 500 gb preferably (ssd would be nice but not a must), at least 8gb of ram (16 would be nice though). Oh and the design shouldn't resemble a spaceship (so no over the top rgb etc.) and just be clean and professional.

Specs of my current laptop:

- i7-4710HQ

- GTX 850M

- 8GB ram

What would you guys recommend?

What sort of issues are we talking about?

Location is the Netherlands, budget is around a thousand euros (1100 max). Battery life isn't important to me, weight doesnt bother me too much either.
