Hey folks, I have some audiobooks on CD that I want to rip and listen to on my android phone. I know how to rip CDs, the question is how do you rip it so when you listen to it, it holds your place in the book, like the program Overdrive. What format do you rip it to? What program should I use to rip it? and Finally, what program to listen with or can I use Overdrive?

Thanks!

Ripping can be done with any software, even the standard windows tools will work.

What u need is an app that understands its an audiobook. Something like Smart AudioBook Player try it out, after 30days you will get adds or just pay the 2 dollars.

I've done it to mp3, one chapter each and all in folder. I use Smart Audio Book Player. M4b would be the format to use if you want it like Audible and others use it. I have bunch of those too, bought from Downpour. I don't know how to make one as I haven't needed that.
