I'm looking for to build a new gaming and streaming rig, what is the best processor that would work. I liked to stay in the <$1200 for the processor.

That's the budget for CPU only? Do you have any parts yet? What's your budget for the entire system? This could go a couple different ways..

Budget w/ a monitor is about $4000.

What are you streaming to?

 

Really, id just get a 9900k, then use nvenc for the encode.

How much are you streaming? If you really want the best, get a dual pc setup, but a single pc with a 20xx gpu will look pretty good and will be pretty cheap aswell.
