I need help with my gpu usage

I have problems with my Asus Geforce GTX 1060 dual oc 6GB 

My fps is a lot lower than usual and my gpu usage is under 10 always i play games...

Plz help me :( i have used over 1000€ To my pc and i cant even play games because my fps is too low because games dont use my gpu.

Go to power management and make sure to set it as high performance.

 

Also, go to Nvidia Control Panel and set the game there as "Full Performance" instead of "Optimal Power".

Are you tabbed out when youre getting that gpu usage reading?

 

Are you using multiple monitors and do you run the game in full screen windowed mode?

 

Have you done a CLEAN INSTALL  of the latest GPU drivers? I would download the latest ones and go to custom installation. Select clean install and dont install Geforce Experience unless you absolutely need to.

 

Go to windows power settings and make sure minimum processor state is 5% and max is 100%, cooling policy is active, and that PCIe link state is disabled.

If it doesn't. It may be a driver issue.

 

Install DDU and uninstall drivers clean.

 

Then go to Nvidia website and download latest driver for 1060 from there.

Terrible advice. Good way to wear out your parts without actually fixing anything.

You dont need to use DDU. The Nvidia installer has a clean install option, which is what i already recommended he do.

1060 only sips power, 600W is enough for like 780 Ti and 980 so for 1060 it will be plenty.

 

I couldn't quickly find the power requirements for Dual OC one, but EVGA one (1060) only wants 120W, so that's not much at all.

Yes he does. So I guess GamersNexus was testing broken 2080 Tis in a wrong way, cool mate. Apply to their team, they'll accept you on the spot!

Thank you put ryzen 5 1600 doesnt have integrated gpu
