Acer Predator Helios 300 Thunderbolt 3?

Hello. I watched Linus' videos about the clean setup, and i wanted to try it out. I got an Acer Predator Helios 300, and it has a thunderbolt 3 looking input, but i can't figure out if it is. I looked on the webside i bought it from, but no information given there.. Anyone knows if it is a thunderbolt 3??

I'm pretty sure linus mentions a website in the video that can tell you if a certain device has thunderbolt 3

I checked the Thunderbolt Technology website, and it appears that it does not.

hmn ok, i also looked at the thundebolt page, but it ain't there. I just don't understand what port it could be then?

Just regular USB C

No TB3 in Helios 300

 

And if you plan to get one, I would advise not to

I am on mobile right now or I would find the article, but Acer states that just certain models could not have an external display connected via usb c. This means the ones that can would have to be thunderbolt of some sort right?
