I am upgrading my CPU soon to an 8700k which of course means a new motherboard. i need one that supports overclocking and is fairly inexpensive. i don't know much about motherboards so i wanted to know if the Gigabyte B360M DS3H was able to overclock. i've seen a bunch of different things and don't know what to believe. If it doesn't support overclocking is there another micro atx mobo that supports OCing and is around $100?

Here's a link to the board: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/B360M-DS3H-rev-10#kf

You need a Z370 board to overclock. The cheapest ones that you should consider are the MSI Z370-A Pro and the ASRock Z370 Pro4. These are budget options, and are not great overclocking boards, but they will get the job done for an 8700k. I know that the ASRock as an mATX version of the Pro4, but I am not sure about MSI.

If you can stretch your budget to the $150 range, there are some better options.
