Is this better than what I'm using?

Emski89

Hello guys,

Currently I am using an Acer R231 monitor and been using it for less than a month.

-23 inch

-FHD (1920 x 1080)

-IPS Monitor

-4ms Response time

-60Hz

and I am interested of a monitor that is brand NVISION curved monitor

-MVA

-24 inch

-4 ms response time

-144 hz refresh rate

-Gsync
-Freesync

And now I'm a bit confused again if this NVISION brand is better than my ACER IPS? I want to experience 144hz though, forget the brand if it's confusing you guys, since it's a brand in my Country only (I think), Should I care about the other brands like MSI and such which costs around more than $200? This NVISION 144 hz monitor is like around $150 same price to my Acer.

I don't even know how to use Gsync and Freeync.

Please advice

@Spotty thanks in advance

I'd say go for the 144hz it seems like a better option. Wether you can use freesync or gsync is determined by your gpu: freesync(amd) gsync(nvidia). It works with all modern gpus from those brands. Although if you have the chance go check them out in a store too see the panel quality cause nvision sounds a little fishy but I still thinks its worth the risk to go with that one and just return it if its shitty.

I guess you're probably right, better if I check it first and to see if it really is awesome, 'coz I like also MSI curved 144hz, but it costs around $230
