4 years old system looking for Upgrade advice for CPU and monitor with RTX 2060

Hello guys i bought my RTX 2060 recently(used GTX980 previously), and i feel my old system become bottleneck for the gaming preference.

Since i watched Linus video talk about the bottleneck, but i'm not sure about that is it really fit in my situation.

Below is my spce and different type of game i'm currently playing, please advise should i upgrade my system?

My spec:

i7 4470

DDR3 1600MHz 8GBx2

RTX 2060 (GTX980 previously)

650W power supplie

Game i'm currently playing

Assassin's Creed Odyssey

Target performance:

high setting 1080p stable 60FPS(i think this game can be the single player game branch mark)

My system:

medium(partly low setting) in 1080p stable 60FPS

BFV

Target performance:

high setting 1080p stable 60FPS(i think this game can be the multiplayer game branch mark)

medium(partly low setting)in 1080p stable 120+FPS

My system:

medium(partly low setting) in 1080p stable 60FPS

Overwatch

Target performance:

low or medium setting 1440p stable 144FPS

My system:

i can't test it yet :( ,below is reason.

Display issue

Also in my setup, i have two monitor for different types of game,

27 inch IPS 60FPS monitor for single player game(partly broken had red backlight leaking in 1/4 area)

https://pcmonitors.info/reviews/aoc-i2757fm/

&

and my BenQ xl2411 only have DVI port support 144hz

Since i stupid enough bought RTX 2060 which do not come with DVI port, therefore i might need to buy another monitor for play FPS game....

(DP to DVI Dual channel adapter are too expansive...)

Question Summary(Sorry for unorganized post):

1. Is my CPU or RAM become bottleneck?

2.If i upgrade to current Gen CPU etc.(i7 8700&new MB&DDR4 3000Mhz RAM), i will get my target performance which listed above?

3.Follow question on Q.2, any other recommendation?

4. Which resolution i should target when i consisting new monitor depends on my RTX2060 performance and CPU etc.?

(27inch 2k 144hz or 27inch 1080p144hz)

Thanks for your patience, and looking forward for advises?

1. your i7 still good.

2. with 2060, 60fps target is a breeze, no need to upgrade the whole system.

3. just buy the 2060

4. No 4k monitor over 60fps, there are plenty of 1080p with 144hz. Get one with GSync featured.

You can get a DP to Dual Link DVI-D Active Adapter if you want to use the DVI Monitor at 144hz.

Or you can have a DP to Single Link DVI for 60hz.

And oh, this one still has DVI, take a look:

?i had already bought this gigabyte rtx2060(only with 3DP and 1HDMI), and i think it is the right time to update to 1440p(2k) experience ...

If i targeting 1440p, do i needs update the whole system?

One the other hand, in fact i feels pretty unstable hitting 1080p 60fps with high setting in current system....

Btw, thanks for your reply!

So you're saying that your current performance (with 2060) still struggled?

Then you need to fix the problem.

It should game properly at 60fps.
