Best CPU for $200 and under.

Hello, I am getting a job soon and I am planning to create a new system. I will be only transferring over the storage drives, and gpu. Everything else would be staying and that would be my streaming PC. With my new pc, I would have around a $200 dollar budget for a cpu. I prefer Intel but I would be alright trying Ryzen. Doesn't matter what chipset or gen.

There is nothing worth on intels side for 200 and less

For that price id go for a ryzen 5 2600 or maybe the 2600x but that's because of the prices in the UK so it may not be the best deal in the USA

As far as I know literally just a higher stock speed so it depends on if you are overclocking.

You can get a ryzen 1700 for around 200$ used on ebay

r5 2600 if u can't wait, wait for zen 2 in 5 months if u can, huge jump

Ryzen 5 2600 will be my as it perfectly fits with any high end GPU.

Hands down no question Ryzen 2600 ($165) or 2600x ($199) if you don't like to overclock and tinker...
