New workstation for Home and office

Hi,

I am looking for advice on building a new workstation for home. I live in Australia and i am looking to spend about $1000, i am willing to go over if needed. I need it to be able to run 2 32" 4K monitors @60Hz

I am open for suggestions.

I would however like to be able to buy all the gear from one place.

Thanks

Mainly Microsoft Office, Chrome, and a few minor games. nothing intense

These are the monitors: https://www.samsung.com/au/monitors/u32j59/

there's nothing difficult about "running" a monitor. it's the stuff you put on said monitor that's the issue.

in your case, i'd say core i5/i7 (or amd ryzen 5 or 7), 16GB ram, 256GB SSD, decent motherboard, decent case, decent power supply, and use whatever is left for the most decent graphics card that fits the bill, and has the required connectors to run those displays.

If you are going to play games like Minecraft, Terraria, Rocket League, FIFA etc you should be fine with a setup like this.

- Ryzen 5 2600x
- GTX 1060 3GB
- 16GB ram @ 2333mhz
- 128GB SSD
- 1 TB HDD
- Generic motherboard around 70 dollar that has an AM4 socket.

If you want to play games like BF5 i would invest in a better graphics card and probably an intel i7 CPU

My profile picture says enough

close, but not it...

2600 non x because x is a overpriced turbo

rx 580 because 1060 is overpriced rn

2333? for ryzen? 2800+

240/250/256 gb gives a way better value

2/3 tb gives a way better value

b450 pro4 is really good around that price
