Planing to upgrade my current pc for budget 144hz experience

Hello everyone, i was wondering if you guys can help me out with suggestions to upgrade my current pc to experience 144hz. the games i play the most are overwatch and fortnite, also i play a litle bit of PUBG and some others games. I Have a budget of $600 usd. what components you guys suggest me to buy in order to get those 144fps in the games i play the most. any suggestion will be appreciated.

PS: the 144hz monitor will be included in those 600 usd, not looking for an expensive monitor, basically a 24" 1080p panel.

CURRENT PC:

CPU: i3 6100

MOBO: Msi B150-m

RAM: 1X 8GB DDR4 2400mhz (capped 2133MHZ because of the cpu/mobo)

GPU: Asus dual gtx 1050ti

STORAGE: 1x 120gb SSD + 1x 1Tb mechanical hard drive

MONITOR: basic 22" 1080p 60hz panel from samsung

Your current setup can barely do 60fps let alone 144fps.  You would need a new CPU and a RTX 2070 if not a to get 144fps matching your refresh rate with no dips.  All settings in nvpanel and in game set to on and set to max..

As far as monitor.  If your going to upgrade to a 1080 or a 2070 your CPU will hold you back.  You pretty much need an entire new system.  CPU mobo RAM and 2070.  What is your preference for a monitor as far as size, resolution and flat or curved and what not ?

Yea, you kind of need a bigger upgrade. If I were you I would get like 1070 TI on Ebay and get a decent monitor and then slowly rebuild your system, or save up until you have enough to rebuild the entire thing.

Not everybody plays at max settings.

Look on ebay/craigslist for a used 1080p 144hz,

i.e

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Philips-24-144-Hz-1-ms-1080p-LCD-Monitor-242G5/153332066119?hash=item23b34da747:g:tmMAAOSwPWtcM72y

A used 6500/6700 for under 100$ for 6500 and under 170 for 6700,

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Intel-Skylake-i5-6500-3-2GHz-Quad-Core/183626901628?epid=219436111&hash=item2ac104287c:g:~NUAAOSwhfRcNOr3

and finally a new 1070 for 300$.

used i5 6500 or 6600  $113 - 160

try to get another stick of 8gb of ram $45

you will probably be looking at the rx 580 for a new gpu or find a used gpu for a better value. $180ish

then get the best 144 monitor you can with the money you have left

Good thread... But beware scams...... I wouldn't trust the seller unless he has 500 or more with 100 percent if not 99 percent .....

i know if i upgrade to a higher gpu the cpu will bottleneck it, 2070 may be a little overkill for the games i play.

Thanks for the answer

also we have someone selling gtx 1070s here for a good price

Those 1070 were used in mining but i'm not afraid of it, the thing that concerns me is the shipping cost because i'm from colombia.
