The only use I have for it is the icon, so I can put that on the shortcut for Chrome so my tech inept parents won't insist on using IE o3o

Internet explorer in its current state has no advantage in any situation. Firefox has the best flash support and uses less resources also massive plugin support, same with chrome, chorme intergrates with your account so you can use your plugins on anohter pc, even fucking safari has apple support.

It's getting there . Chrome just updated it's scrolling feature where the auto scroll finally scrolls smoothly when the speed becomes faster than 2 increased setting.

IE 10 and 11 are actually quite nice and have some unique features.

IE isn't too bad and older aged people use it as their main browser because it is simple and do not like the idea of switching browsers because they are used to IE.

IE is the best for downloading other browsers. Even if IE was good, the only people who use it are the kind of people who fill half their screen with toolbars which of course fill it with crap and slow it down.

If you follow the Inori Aizawa facebook page they go over some cool stuff about IE, most recently Reading View and today hardware decoding jpg's with your GPU.

There's actually an extension for Chrome that enables smooth scrolling.
