Could it be a heat issue? If it is a desktop have you dusted it recently. How old it the video card?

I was normally using my computer and suddenly the screen turned black and image attached flashes every few seconds, can anyone tell me what was happening and what can I do?

I changed my graphics card and that doesn't happen again
