OBS Best Settings for 1080p recording?

Hello, I recently purchased a Avermedia GC513 Capture card and am using it on laptop as my dual setup. My recording specs are i7 8750h with 16gb ram and a gtx 1050ti qmax. I'm looking to achieve the best quality with the smoothest performance. Any help would be greatly appreciated
