How would we know if the 2060 is not even out yet, all we can make is educated guesses.

I'd pay the extra money for an i5, or if you don't have any components for your new system yet, a Ryzen 5 2600.

PC Specs - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D MSI B550M Mortar - 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4-3600 @ CL16 - ASRock RX7800XT 660p 1TBGB & Crucial P5 1TB Fractal Define Mini C CM V750v2 - Windows 11 Pro

The Ryzen 5 2600 is cheaper than most i5s so it offers great value. Bundle it with a decent B450 board and 16GB of DDR4-3000 and you're looking at a killer gaming PC, especially at 1440p.
