I wouldn't waste any money on upgrading an ancient Core 2 Duo system anymore, you may as well just keep the money and save up for a new PC.

I think it would be fine, but that doesn't look like an HD7000 to me, not with that little cooler, even a 7700 would need more. Which model is this one labelled as?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

If you are broke then why are you wasting money?

Sorry for not answering your question but I'm only being honest with you here.

no. I say the one that listed the card doesn't have it. as the listing should contain the exact graphics card, not the series it's from

Well some users like to share advice, probably didn't mean to roast you so bad.

It is true though, if you're broke you should save for a while until you can get better. What region do you live in?

if its tech you wanna talk about, then i had to go through a lot of interest in tech that led to programming, cz tech needs programming, and i knew tech which is  why i know programming

If you've got enough for this video card then the best advise I can give you is keep the money you have now and then add to it over a period so you have enough for a new PC.

I am now sure that this forum is not for a poor person like me who plans to build this :https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ and will till the mid 2019 or so and has saved money already around $390 but these guys just gonna embarrass me and call it advice - wow

I see the HD 7470 going for around $10 to $20 on ebay. If you can, try to get a GTX 260 or something since I see those going for around the same price range and they'll give you a much better performance boost with that CPU than the 7470 or similar card. Even a 7750 would be pretty good to pair with that CPU as well.

No you'll be fine to use the forum but I know how this first impression will sit. Also, if you have access to an LGA 1366 motherboard I just replaced a CPU I would like to get rid of if you're interested

You don't necessarily need to build a system with current generation parts, you can find good deals on Ebay for used office pre-builts with 2nd-3rd gen i5's and 8GB's of RAM.

one: he's lying, that one isn't go to "easily" in those games...

2: it's this one: https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/radeon-hd-7470-oem.c299

so it's even a worse performing one, because of using ddr3 over gddr5 on regular cards...

the choise is yours, but you're going to have a hard time on a lot of games
