New Ram and Motherboard

Likezz

Hello I am new at computers but I am big gamer. I want to upgrade my ram from 2666Mhz to 3200Mhz and I also need new motherboard. I was looking at: ASUS ASUMB-i z370 AII and G.SKILL Ripjaws V 16GB (2x8GB) 3200MHz DDR4

THe thing i don't understand is: 4 x DIMM DDR4 (4000(O.C.) / 3866(O.C.) / 3800(O.C.) / 3733(O.C.) / 3666(O.C.) / 3600(O.C.) / 3466(O.C.) / 3400(O.C.) / 3333(O.C.) / 3300(O.C.) / 3200(O.C.) / 3000(O.C.) / 2800(O.C.) / 2666 / 2400 / 2133MHz)

the number is the ram speed and dont worry about the oc.

4x is the number of ram slots.

dimm ddr4 is just speed and type is standard nowadays

From what Ive seen on pricing, you are better off buying a Z390 motherboard, the Z390 Gaming K4 is under 140$ compared to the Z370 A Prime 150$+  and uses the latest Z390.
