What are some ways to make a custom GPU backplate?

Are there any GOOD videos on youtube that teach me how to make a custom backplate that isn't expensive? I have the EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 XC BLACK EDITION GAMING.

Current Pc Parts:

-CPU: Intel i7-9700k

-GPU: EVGA RTX 2070 black edition

-CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken x62

-Mobo: Asus z390-E gaming

-Ram: Corsair Vengeance RGB pro 32g @3000MHz

-Storage: Samsung 850evo 256Gb

-Storage: Toshiba 1Tb 7200rpm

-Case: NZXT H500

-Extra: NZXT Hue 2

What would be the best way to paint acrylic?

Exactly what I did here:

I then lined the edges with electrical tape.

 

You get the best results from painting the back of the acrylic

 

I did some red lines on the back and then covered the whole back in black paint

If I were to do this should I put a clear coat on the back?
