Remove Laptop Fingerprint?

Guys i got a used laptop from my uncel abroad, he forgot to remove his fingerprint. how do i remove it? i cant access windows without it. clean windows installation will fix the issue?

Probably would be best to reinstall anyway, so you know you're dealing with a clean machine.

You should be able to use the password. As long as the BIOS / UEFI is not locked with a password, you should be able to run a new install of windows, remember to press del/F10/F12/Del (either or depending on brand) to select boot device, and not install within windows. Best of luck.
