If you consider the Intel route you'll pay more for the motherboard as well.

Go for the 4670, not the 4670k and save yourself the 15 euro.

I would look into getting a SSHD a hybrid drive like the ones from seagate I think that is what could really improve your build I looked it would add approx. 40 to your drive cost but worthwhile looking into defintly

Is what I was going to say. Spend more money on your GPU.

Hello everyone! Been following Linus on youtube for quite a while now, and since i have the money, i want to build my first very own pc. The budget is around 600-650 €, and now i've come up with this build:

1. Budget & Location: Italy, around 600-650 euros for the case itself

2. Aims: Playing games and doing cadwork, not overclocking so everything will be stock

3. Monitors: just one, in 1080p

4. Peripherals: suggest a good 1080p monitor around 150 euros if you can

5. Why are you upgrading?: Because i have a 4 y.o. laptop

CPU:

AMD FX 8350 4.0 Ghz 8 cores 178€

Motherboard:

Asrock 970 Extreme 3 (Chipset 970) 76€

RAM:

Kingstone 8Gb 1600 Mhz CL9 75€

Graphics Card:

ASUS GTX 660 direct CU II 166€

PSU:

Corsair Cx 80+ bronze 500W 58€

HDD:

Western digital blue 1TB 53€

Case:

Cooler Master n300 48€

Now, to this i would like to add a good 1080p monitor (around 150€).

My goal is to play games on this pc and do CADwork (so even 3D modelling in a future).

What should i change in this build -if i have to change something-?

In these days, amazon is selling the 4670k at 200€, should i buy it over the AMD FX 8350?

Thanks for your time :)

change the 8350 to an 8320 and invest in a 760, for 1080p anything lower than a 760 (or 660 Ti) isn't gonna cut it too good.

Edited the new post and put all the previous suggestions.

One more question, is it real that 1080p is useless on monitor which are smaller than 24"?

Because i've found this two and i don't know what to buy:

1080p works great on 23" as well. anything above 22" imo.

Not really sure what you mean by "Useless on monitor which are smaller than 24 inch", but 1080P on a 24 Inch will look just good :)
