Do I really need that screw?

rocketbagel

So I was replacing my iphone 4s' screen and I lost the step 34 screw while reassembling it. Is it really that necessary? TO BE CLEAR, the screw holds the one of the display corners in. There are 3 other screws doing the same thing at different corners and 6 screws holding it in by clamping it against the side.

You should be fine, as long as it isn't holding anything crucial down, or holding anything that would otherwise be quite loose down, i would play it safe and order one (yes i know tedious for one screw).

Is it worth fully tearing down another 4S that I have lying around?

Im planning on getting a new phone in 3-4 months so it only needs to hold for that long, plus the previous phone screen is this...

*realizes that you cant use your phone to take a picture when its fully dissembled*
