Adjusting your Audio Technica ATH-M50

TheBLOODYTOXIC

Hello, guys

i'm posting  this thread to help the ATH-M50 owners in how to get the most of your headphones, Out the box the M50 has a pretty good frequency response curve but not at all, here is the graph for how get the flatest frequency  response curve using an EQ. It doesn't have every frequency of the spectrum but is a good. I used a RTA (Real Time Spectrum Analyzer) but is ok using this graph. For example if the graph show -5db at 1khz you just raise in the EQ +5db  for the 1khz range.

Having the flatest Frequency Response Curve is how your Headphones are intended to sound but in the world of audio sometimes someone want a deeper bass or more high frequency. In my EQ i have boosted my low frequency range a bit. Just give it a try.

I was going to attach my EQ preset fom Foobar but it seems I'm not able to.

I hope you guys like this guide

i'm sorry for the presentation of the thread but currently i'm using On-Screen Keyboard but once i get back my kb i'll change it.
