So you're having a shitty EVGA NEX 750W wich is based on a almost 15 year old FSP Design and are wondering why the PSU is causing problems??

Well d'uh, the FSP GHN/"Epsilon" Plattform was shit when it was released back in 05 or 06, when EVGA released the NEX 750B it was total shit.

No, I didn't say that.

I was only talking about the EVGA NEX750B, not all of them.

Experience taught me to expect the worst. And the worst 750W EVGA PSU there is, is the NEX750B.

Not as bad. But not great.  The one I have has hella coil whine under load with 1080 Ti.

B3 is much better than BQ when looking at the Bronze EVGA units.

the only problem I see with the EVGA B3 is OPP set too high

And the questionable soldering quality, and the sleeve bearing fan, and the lack of multi rail, and the bait and switch they pulled.

naa, that's not true.

Its still the same thing, if it is made by Super Flower or outsourced to RSY don't matter when its build to the same specification with the same components.

The QC and soldering quality was not as consistent, though.

Hey. I said better.  Not great.

I have lower expectations from tier 3 factories.  ?

Could be worse.

That 1080 deserves a quality gold or platinum unit, wouldn't you say? The BQ is mediocre at best.

5 year warranty, and there's more to fan than just its bearing IIRC

yes, but most PSUs lack multirail these days. Also we're talking about low capacity PSUs anyway
