New i9 9900K + Evolv X build

DigitalPixel

Time to retire my Core 2 Duo E8400. Ive been waiting a long time for this. I still need a GPU (ASUS 2080 Ti) and new monitor. I'll probably get the LG 34GK950G-B when its finally available here in Canada. Same for the GPU. I can't find them anywhere. Still need to install OS. Just making sure everything works. Booted into BIOS without issues and all memory and drives are visible. I don't think I can get any cleaner with the wire management. Anyway here are some pics.

Case - Phanteks Evolv X

PSU - Seasonic Prime Ultra 850W Titanium

Motherboard - ASUS ROG Maximus Extreme

CPU - Intel i9 9900K

AIO - ASUS ROG Ryuo 240

Memory - G.Skill TridentZ RGB 32GB

NVMe M.2 - Samsung 970 Pro 512GB

SSDs - Samsung 860 Pro 1TB x 2

Fans - Corsair LL120 RGB x 2/LL140 RGB x 4

CableMod Black/Blood red cables

I'll probably do some OCing. Who knows maybe I'll need to get a 360 instead. But I've seen some decent temps with the 240.

Very nice and clean mate. GG

Were you surprised like me when the 9900k actually came in that crystal.

Was thinking it was just a marketing ploy.

It was a tight fit. You have to push hard to get it onto the 2 alignment standoffs. I removed the center alignment standoff with the collar and installed a regular one. I didn't touch the top center.

Did you find the motherboard RGB backplate touches the case? See my post below...
