Futureproof

my nephew is trying to build a new pc and i was wondering which of these are the most future proof (he's planning on upgrading sometimes next year),

they're both around the same price.

If you are spending below 1300$ (or there abouts) get AMD. Intel isnt worth it below that pricepoint.

 

Grab an r5 2600. 3000mhz memmory and get a faster GPU. Say 1070 or 2070/1080.

Indonesia, budget is around $1000, he doesn't need peripherals. He's looking for something to upgrade later on next year

Drop the CPU a tier. Get the 3000mhz memmory and then sqeeze in a vega56 or gtx 1070

Also get a cheaper psu for that 2nd build. No need for an expensive Seasonic Platinum. A good quality Gold unit will do the same job for less i.e The Antec in your 1st spec.
