i typically play CS:GO, L4D, things that are not too demanding, but thinking of buying Battlefield soon.

Yeah I was looking at those, but read it would be better to get something with more than 2GB of memory. But everything that is 3GB or above are over $300. Will I be okay on a 2GB card with 3 monitors in surround?

With 3 monitors you want as much VRAM as you can get for the budget and a 760 doesn't offer that...

You won't max many games at all...prob medium and sometimes high...

Isn't AMD typically better for a surround set up?
I don't know much about them but that's what I've generally read.

 

I'd almost find some cheap cards on Craigslist until AMD prices return to something sane.

Raise it and get a 280x, the cheapest one is aus is around $380 and is worth it. 

 

Don't get a GTX660 3gb version...
