I ordered all my parts and waiting until Christmas to unwrap them. I ordered an 'EVGA BR 450 Watt 80+ Bronze Power Supply' off of very.co.uk for about £50. I'm just wondering if it would be compatible with this build:

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 2600 3.4 GHz 6-Core Processor

CPU fan: AMD's stock Wraith fan

Motherboard: MSI - B450 Gaming Plus ATX AM4 Motherboard

Memory: Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory

Storage: Kingston - A400 120 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive + Seagate - BarraCuda 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

GPU: Gigabyte - GeForce GTX 1070 Ti 8 GB Video Card

Case: Gigabyte - GeForce GTX 1070 Ti 8 GB Video Card

Monitor: LG - 27GK750F-B 27.0" 1920x1080 240 Hz Monitor

PSU: EVGA BR 450 Watt 80+ Bronze Power Supply

IM ALSO NOT PLANNING ON SLI OR OVERCLOCKING iN THE FUTURE

If you're referring to the wattage - yes, it's enough; however, it's not the best of PSUs.

Generally, most consumers won't be able to tell the difference between a middle and high-end PSU, but I still recommend upper end due to the lower chance of it damaging components (Although it is quite rare).

For £50, you'd be much better off getting a Pure Power 11 400W.

Compatible, yes. Recommended, no.

the 450BR uses a double-forward topology which can cause coil whine with high end gpus IIRC

I'm not sure if the pure power 11 is any better, buy at least it has been reviewed and it is also more efficient and has a longer warranty

No reviews and a very low temperature rating is not good signs.

that's why I said pure power 11 seems much superior on paper

but I think that 450BR could be at worst an EVGA 450B with DC-DC

which is not that great but it's not too bad either.

With PSUs, it's often best to operate with crap until proven otherwise.

Why are you so hellbent on getting a rather shitty EVGA PSU?!
And why such cheap shit?!

You were recommended  good value PSU, why not go with that?!
WHy always look for other stuff, when the one you choose already was pretty bad...
