Should I or shouldn't i

So I have a old acer aspire that I have had sitting around and I am thinking should I even look in to upgrading it internally or should I just replace it with a different laptop I don't really game that much I simply want to have it run small games like minecraft

Depends what's in the laptop.
If it was one of the cheapest model possible, it's not even worth it.

I personally just use my old Acer laptop, as an HTPC.
