Well that's weird..i think there's something wrong with the wiring at your home/bedroom.

But yes that ups should do, In case those UPS aren't available you should look for the one which has Pure Sinewave in the description as Electronic such as TV,Fridge,Etc aren't design to accept Stepped sine wave or it'll damage the equipment overtime.

I would get an electrician to fix the electrical issue first. Might just be a case of a new switch.

is it turning off and then on or it's just the screen that goes black without the TV turning off?

first problem could be due to the light switch being incorrectly wired (inverted polarity, shorted switch, too much joints, bad circuit, etc)

from where I see it, the current goes through the bathroom first and then to the outlet whenever the TV is located so when the light turns on it draws just a bit more current than the available in the circuit so the outlet loses power for a while (less than 1 second) and the TV turns off

it could also be due to the wiring being too thin, a really common issue in new apartments, builders use thinner wiring to save some money

About the UPS, 900W is a lot for just a TV, LCD and newer screens use 100W or less. Before doing anything check the bathroom switch and the outlet where the TV is, you just need to remove 2 screws, cut the power first if you're afraid, if the wires are kinda loose use an screwdriver to tighten the screws inside, if a wire is cut but not totally cut just remove it from its place and fix it using a wire cutter or ye olde lighter and scissors.

This is a old house so wiring is weak and old. It started when I got a ceiling fan installed in my bathroom. There is no othere way of installing this fan. I get it only on my Tv and on every socket im my room. Tv will go black for 1 to 3 seconds but it will not switch off as after that is back to normal and normally it take 20 second to power it up from off.

I want to get a more powerfully UPS so I can use it for othere stuff like my pc monitor or/and HiFi and so I dont have to throw it out when I need latter in my life. As they say Im to poor to buy cheap.

Should I try voltage stabilizer befor buying UPS? This one is still not on cheap side but it may do a trick. I still have option of returning it and picking up a UPS. This.

Would voltage adjuster do the job? They do have delay so it may not be a perfect solution but for a fraction of the price of a good UPS?

I think that it would depend on the power which you are receiving from the mains, if it goes out completely for many seconds then a voltage regulator would not be able to run that equipment on its stored power for long from transformers. UPS units which are good quality come with AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulation) which should clean up low and high voltage powers to make them more consistent. If you do not absolutely need sine wave output then you will most likely be able to get away with purchasing a good modified sine wave model from a reputable manufacturer such as Tripp Lite or CyberPower Systems.

It won't damage it but will be less efficient in most cases, if it's an issue with compatibility the PSU will just reject it and shut down. Active PFC correction is on all good quality switch mode PSU's, if it doesn't have PFC then you wouldn't be able to get the full rated wattage out of the unit if your power coming in was horrible.

Personally I've used stepped approx units from APC without any issues, only thing I've noticed is excessive electrical noise due to the imperfect sinewave when on battery backup.     -     @W-L

I am slightly confused myself on if running a modified sine wave UPS with a PSU which has active PFC could cause any damage besides that of like if it were to power down and data got corrupt of hard drive damage occurred from the power being suddenly cut out from the device. I think that previously I have asked this question and @W-L had responded to that post with the text from the Quoted section on 11/28/2018 which basically said (from my understanding) that the configuration could not cause damage and would only shut down and electrical noise is going to be a possible factor. If some member happens to know about this conflict and would be able to clear it up for me and other potential readers then that would be great. -@Boomwebsearch

It you use PSU with active PFC then it won't damage the component as the PSU will act as a shield.

I am talking about home appliance or home elctronic such as fridge, microwave,TV,Etc

I am sorry, although I am still confused; could the PSU be damaged then if it is serving the purpose of being a shield and don't home appliances like TVs have PSU units built in to provide power to components such as image processors within the machine; from my experience, I have not seen TVs and other appliances being advertised with having active PFC so I could be wrong on the concept that PSUs in computers are similar to those in other electronics-based appliances?

Okay i am a bit confused as well...

Here's what..PSU with active PFC won't support a UPS with a stepped sine wave..if you try to use the combination of those two your PC will constantly restart or randomly restart itself.

I don't know what kind of PSU/AC converter home appliances use but i remember reading a UPS article and it said that home appliance circuitry are not designed to accept stepped sine wave or it will damage the appliance overtime.

What i am referring to when i said the PSU will be damaged is when there's something unfortunate happen even though you use a UPS (pure sinewave)..or even if you're not using a UPS the PSU will still act as a shield..so yeah if anything wrong the PSU is the one that would be damaged..but PSU also comes with a lot of protection even on a decent one so no worries there.
