Like what the ... Ok, I understand that the largest RAM factory burned down like a year ago, but RAM prices just shot up again for no apparent reason... After the factory burned down, 8GB ram costed about 70 bucks, lately, the cheapest 8 GB RAM kit I can find is at 80-90 bucks. What's their excuse this time? Why did prices shoot up AGAIN? This is really starting to piss me off right now and I'm starting to think that factory had little to do with this...

Don't visit EU, ever. Unless you want a heartattack when you see 130 for cheapest 8GB and about 200 for the reasonable ones.

You could get Corsair Vengeance 8gb (4x2) for like $60.

32 GB pack of Corsair vengeance @1600mhz is about 550$ (when you cut the pack in half you usually pay ~60-65% of the initial cost)

32 GB of corsair Dominators Plat @2133 cost 700-800$

Maybe all the RAM companies decided to raise prices at the same time? It's not the first time this has happened.

I don't fucken understand it, why did prices jump AGAIN from $70 to fucken $115! THEY WERE $70 2 WEEKS AGO!

Supply and demand. Also many companies are slowing production as well since DDR4 is on the horizon.

Yes, it sucks, but we can't do anything about it. Either buy it or don't. I'm just glad I was able to get 16GB(4x4GB) 2 years ago for less than $100 USD.
