What's the best Gpu for Under 300$ in 2019, can it be future proof and run AAA titles on At least on medium setting? Which one is the best nvidia or amd? Which series is the best?

used 1070 ti, might be a bit hard to find but also a huge jump over the 1070.

New, RX 580 8GB, it outperforms the 1060 6GB on average and costs less. Used, Vega 56 or 1070ti/1070 depending on which you can find cheaper, but you're going to have to bid in auctions in most cases.

I don't think the rx 400 cards are being sold anymore. The RX 590 isn't a bad choice and it gets bundled with AAA games but a used 980Ti or used 1070 is still a better choice. The RX 580 is a better choice over the RX 590 since it's price gets pretty low.

its pretty hard to find used cards where i live, so new cards are my only option, My question is Rx 580 8gb or Gtx 1060 6gb??

Are Amd gpus perform good enough and Rx 580 is par with which nvidia gpu's??

rx 580 = 1060 6gb

the rx 590 is right in between the 1060 6gb and the 1070 8gb.

The 1060 and 580 generally trade blows between titles, but the 580 has a slight edge to the 1060.

Tanq for the quick replies guys, Rx 580 seems like a great deal then,its cheaper then 1060 6gb and comes with 3 games.

But are amd drivers are as good as  nvidia's? 

and what all should i know before buying amd cards over nividia's?

As TheDankKoosh said the 580 and 1060 have quite similar performance. I would suggest the RX580 8gb for the 2gb of VRAM and imo It will Age Better.

AMD drivers are good and the 2019 update added some nice features , I can't compare since I never had an Nvidia gpu in ages.
