Display Technology is moving very slowly.

Turtle Rig

Not for TV's but for a monitor.  The best they can do with 4k being out 5 years is give us tiny monitors with high refresh rates.  24 inches 27 inches ?  Come on now this is 2019.  They can give us 4k @ 144hz @ 40 inches.  So they cant make a 4k monitor curved 40 inches with IPS and gsync all at 144hz,,,, better yet 240Hz which has been out for almost a decade, but no us pc mac users use freakin 60hz mostly all of us.  I don't have a choice I need 4k and real estate.

Asus Sabertooth x79 / 4930k @ 4500 @ 1.408v / Gigabyte WF 2080 RTX / Corsair VG 64GB @ 1866 & AX1600i & H115i Pro @ 2x Noctua NF-A14 / Carbide 330r Blackout

Scarlett 2i2 Audio Interface / KRK Rokits 10" / Sennheiser HD 650 / Logitech G Pro Wireless Mouse & G915 Linear & G935 & C920 / SL 88 Grand / Cakewalk / NF-A14 Int P12 Ex
AOC 40" 4k Curved / LG 55" OLED C9 120hz / LaCie Porsche Design 2TB & 500GB / Samsung 950 Pro 500GB / 850 Pro 500GB / Crucial m4 500GB / Asus M.2 Card

The market simply isn't there for such a device.

Correct me if I'm wrong but what you want is a panel that can provide:

IPS-level colors

4k resolution

240Hz refresh rate

In a 40" plus diagonal size?

I don't believe there's currently a card in existence that can drive AAA games at that speed. You could get around the bandwidth limitations between the card and monitor by using 2 DP cables like the current 8K monitors require, but that still doesn't solve the problem of generating the frames to send to the display in the first place.

Have you already bought the PG27UQ and decided that you're dissatisfied with the size and refresh rate?

Just stick with 60Hz and get a tv as your monitor.

60Hz is perfectly fine for almost any task.

Anything bigger than a 27" monitor for a PC screen standing on a desk 60-80cm away is way to big for gaming, i say gaming because there is no other reason you would want 144hz+. There is already some decent 32" monitors out there with specs you have listed aswell if you want a larger monitor.

It is fairly simple. Despite having the tech for panels (high refresh rates, resolutions, HDR etc) is there, once you combine it, the problem is heat. Even the newly released 4k 144hz panels have fans in it, they still get crazy hot. Till heating issue gets solved, there wont be any way to move forward.
