Fps problems

Hi my current pc is 1060 3gb i7 6700 and 8gb 2133mhz ram, and on fortnite i cant get a constant 144fps with everything on lowest except for view distance on epic. Should i be getting more or is that normal for my pc? Im also running it on 1920x1080

Is your monitor plugged into the GPU or the motherboard? It should be plugged into the GPU.

I could be wrong, but the 3gb of VRAM sounds like it could be the issue.

Also, are you going into the 4:3 aspect ratios? Because when I played fortnite 2-3 months ago I was playing 1024x768

But it says its only using 2gb vram when im playing

No i play 1920x1080

view distance is one of the things that helps with FPS.

Aspect ratio has nothing to do with performance. The only reason it would in OP's case is because it would reduce the resolution to 1440x1080.

I meant the general resolutions of 4:3. Woops.

Fov would effect it aswell.
